Sarah Phillips Seed Project, "Antartica"
"This is my contribution to the seed project. It is a map of Antarctica.
But look, instead of shrinking, it is growing with time. Oh the irony. "

| For the third year in a row, Parsons and Eugene Lang students enrolled in the HEOP Interdisciplinary Lab class at The New School will be participating in The Seed Project -
a global environmental installation that involves planting basil seeds,
creating art, documenting the process, and becoming part of an
expanding online art collective.
This
week the students will each write a proposal for a creative
installation in which to grow the seeds. They'll vote on the best
proposal and install it in an east-facing,12th floor window of a
university building in Union Square.
